I was only eight years old, my life lying ahead of me and there I was in my room all alone, just me and Barry (my pet dog). It was a night other than usual quite dark and vague, one that made me considerably insecure in a place so familiar to me. I lay, curled up in my doona trying to keep my cold, stiffened feet warm. But a chill seemed to pierce its way through my blankets like roman gladius blades slowly cutting through human flesh.I just couldn’t sleep; I was too incapable of adapting to such a low temperature.I jumped nimbly out of bed as if it was morning and rushed to my bedroom window. I couldn’t help myself but stare into space and this unidentifiable star that seemed to grow much closer as I continued to stare at it. The brightness began to overwhelm the pupils of my eyes and all I remember then was darkness, I blacked out.

“The hunger games” is a novel that entertains readers through a storyline full of suspense and excitement. However if one observes such a novel you can find that it may have some human aspects of it creating a different feel to what a fiction book may contain. The main aspects of the novel, is the amount of power having a totalitarian government taking full control of its people, learning about relationships and love between the characters and also the relevance of grace to the topic.
The Capitol is the highest district of all of Panem. Their seen as much more upper classed and superior by the lower districts.
